PER DIEM SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
This per-diem position is responsible for administering our speech therapy program for Community Nurses home care patients. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, assessing home environment, identifying equipment needs relative to speech/language function, identifying functional speech defects and establishing a plan of care to improve function. ST confers with referring physician and other agency personnel to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive plan of care. Position offers a competitive salary and paid mileage.

 Qualifications:
Degree and internship from an approved Master's program in Speech-Language Pathology. Meets requirements for a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Minimum of 1 year clinical experience. Current CPR certification. Good verbal and written communication and organization skills.

 - PER DIEM OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS - McKean County
The Occupational Therapist evaluates a patient’s functional status in a home environment, develops a treatment program, and establishes goals for improved function. OT provides patient/family education, maintains clinical records, and communicates with physician and in-home nursing staff to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive plan of care for home health patients. This position offers a competitive salary and paid mileage.

Qualifications: 
Graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association. Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association. Current CPR certification. Two years clinical experience as an OT. Good verbal and written communication and organization skills.

  - PART TIME PHYSICAL THERAPIST - McKean County
Licensed Physical Therapist provides in-home patient assessment, determines plan of care, provides therapy services, and submits clinical documentation for Community Nurses patients. Competitive pay, paid mileage and pro-rated benefits.

Qualifications:
Degree from accreditated physical therapy bachelor or masters program. Current license for the state of Pennsylvania. Minimum two years experience as a therapist. Current CPR certification. Excellent organizational skills and verbal/written communication skills.

General Job Description:

  • Hours vary and most employees are offered as many or as little work hours as they are available for.
  • Shifts range from one hour to eight hours or more.
  • Community Nurses provides training. C.N.A. or other experience is helpful, but not mandatory.
  • A Personal Care Aide…
    1. Provides personal care which includes assisting with: bath or shower, shampoo, hair care, oral hygiene, etc. They assist with toileting, ambulation and other activities of daily living.
    2. Keeps the client's home clean and orderly.
    3. Performs household duties such as: dusting, vacuuming, changing/making beds, meal preparation, dishwashing, trash removal, laundry, shopping, errands etc.
    4. Provides relief to family members and provides companionship for client.
    5. Observes the client for general physical, emotional and mental conditions, reports any changes or concerns to Nurses on duty.
    6. Assists client to live in a clean, healthy, safe environment
