The death of a loved one can be a traumatic experience physically, emotionally, financially, and spiritually. Bereavement support groups offer a comfortable setting where a person who has experienced a loss can find caring, comfort, support and information in a confidential atmosphere. Contact our Hospice office at 1-800-841-9397 for more information on bereavement support.

Adult Bereavement Support Group

A bereavement support group meeting for adults is held on the first Thursday of the month at 6:00 PM at the Community Nurses St. Marys office, located in the “757” building, behind Pinecrest Manor, on the campus of Penn Highlands Elk.

A special Holiday Bereavement Workshop is held each November to help those who are grieving through the holiday season.

No reservation is necessary for the support group meetings. You are welcome to bring a friend.
